I have already indicated in a nutshell which I culture.
For this culture, I have basically 30 breeding cages available.
For the young birds and the birds that are not included in the culture I have nine flights available, including three outside flight.
With me the culture area is divided in two different spaces. One room is well insulated in this space can I keep the winter frost out.
The other area is not insulated. Here I have to watch out for frost in the winter months. The grass parakeets are not sensitive to freezing feet, agaporniden that even more. It is therefore important for me to consider where I put the birds, in my case. In practice, At the winter period I will keep the agaporniden in the isolated space.

In the nest of agaporniden frost will not penetrate as quickly. This is why I can let the agaporniden breed in an unheated space, but I always watch the birds careful in this area at wintertime.
Now it is possible that you think you need more insulation, but you may create another problem, namely the non-hatching of the eggs because there is not enough ventilation.
I hope that through the photos I have given you a good impression of my breeding areas.
