Feeding: Johannes Koster

I like to keep this simple, a standard seed mix for the agaporniden and a standard seed mix for the grass parakeets. 

In addition to the normal seed mix I give the birds sprouted seed. This consists of Katjang Idjoe and broken grains. These sprouted seeds I mix with Orlux eivoer and some insects patee of Orlux. Obviously the stomach gravel and regularly provide fresh water is not missing. The young birds get daily spray millet. During the breeding period I regularly give the agaporniden willow branches. This is used for nesting material. Also the grass parkieten in the flights regularly receive fresh willow branches. During the rearing period I give the agaporniden regular sunflower seeds. Not too much because otherwise they get too fat.
